This movie is sort of prequel of The Conjuring. Focus more on the history of the Annabelle doll.
As a horror movie, this movie quite scary in terms of the jump scare here and there. In terms of storyline just ok. Kinda boring actually. There are nothing scary as hoping to see the doll moving like Chucky. It more what is inside the doll. Well while I'm watching this movie I just keep thinking burn the doll with salt!!! or where are Sam and Dean when we need them!! Haha I watch too much Supernatural.
Anyway, if you hoping too see some horror movie with a lot jump scare, this one for you. Hoping to see a really scary doll walking here and there like Chucky with great storyline? Well this movie gonna disappoint you.
Overall, this movie just ok for me. Well it managed to make me scream at the jump scare in the cinema!! Not really interesting storyline and the ending just ok. Not great and not bad either. With that I rate this movie 3 out of 5.. Just ok but I have fun screaming :P
