So I finally finish the final book of Trylle trilogy.. So a bit synopsis first
Synopsis from the back cover :
"Wendy Everly is facing an impossible choice. The only way to save the Trylle from their deadliest enemy is by sacrificing herself. If she doesn't surrender to the Vittra, her people will be thrust into a brutal war against an unbeatable foe. But how can Wendy leave all her friends behind... even if it's only way to save them?
The stakes have never been higher, because her kingdom isn't the only thing she stands to lose. After falling for both Finn and Loki , she's about to make the ultimate choice.. who to love forever. One guy has finally proven to be the love of her life - and now all their lives might be coming to end.
Everything has been leading to this moment. The future of her entire world rests in her hands - if she's ready to fight for it."
The tagline for this books is..
"What if the only way to save your world is to leave it behind?"
Ascend is the continuation from the Book 2 : Torn (click here for review) from the Trylle Trilogy. The first book is Switched (click here fore review)..
*Spoiler alert!!!! *
My review... I don't know why.. This book seems so sad for me.. Wendy becoming more mature and I just missed how innocent she is in the book one... Switched( Click here for review) ... She becoming more like her mother... What else.. I just missed Finn, Rhys and Matt in this book... They seems like a minor characters now and I just want more story involving them :(
*End Spoiler*
So yeah.. The storyline is great and all... I just missed some of the characters... :( I can see the character development in most of the characters... Then the ending is great.. It really conclude the Trylle trilogy... What else?? I think that is all... I give it 3 and half out of 5....
